Netflix has a new series set to premiere on June 10th, 2021. “Trese” is based in the Philippines and follows Filipino detective Alexandra Trese as she solves crimes with her supernatural abilities which range from reading minds to fighting demons. The comic book, created by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo, won several awards in 2014 (including Best Graphic Novel at Alcon Award) before being adapted for Netflix’s streaming service on June 10th of 2018!
