Smart Music Login Instructions
- Open GOOGLE CHROME (Does not work with other web browsers).
- Go to Smartmusic.com.
- Select New Smartmusic.1. If you already have an account, go to step 4.
2. Choose JOIN CLASS if you don’t already have an account.
Enter Class Code
- Period 2 – Wind Ensemble (20-21): CZA4F-K7TR4
- Period 3 – Concert Band (20-21): U2PTH-G6X2R
- Period 4 – Concert Band (20-21): GX27H-FMGEZ
- Period 6 – Symphonic Band (20-21): V4UVC-HYUFL
- Period 7 – Percussion/Concert Band (20-21): DQCTQ-EVRAY
- Period 7 – Percussion/Symphonic Band (20-21): KN7RC-YWMRW
- Period 7 – Percussion/Wind Ensemble (20-21): XPWE7-FU26E3. Username (student ID#), Password (any password), and an email address of your choice are required to register (you may use your school email or other personal email address).
- Fill in your login information.
a. Student ID# (username)
b. Password (your password)
c. Select LOGIN from the drop-down menu.
- Select your task by clicking PLAY under MY PENDING ASSIGNMENTS.
- Click OKAY after you’ve chosen your part. Make sure you choose the correct key (i.e. Bb Trumpet vs. C Trumpet).
- Click CLOSE after reading the INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR ASSIGNMENT.
1. If a popup box appears, select ALLOW to give your microphone access.
- Click RED CIRCLE at the top of the screen (record).
- TEST YOUR MIC (you’ll have to take off your headphones/earbuds to do this).
- PLUG IN YOUR HEADPHONES/EARBUDS AFTER THE MICROPHONE HAS BEEN CALCULATED.
- To begin recording your first take, select Start Practicing.
1. Under the heading ASSESSMENT…
a) Please choose the relevant SUB PART if it is a DIVISI part.
b) Please pick PERC/CLAP MODE if you are a PERCUSSIONIST.
c) Select TUNER if you want to tune your instrument.
- Once you’ve found a take you’d want to submit, choose it and double-check that it’s the one that appears on the screen before clicking SUBMIT.
- Add any further remarks you’d like to make about your contribution (for example, any issues you encountered), and then click SUBMIT.
- Allow time for your contribution to be uploaded (you may have to wait a little bit). When you’re finished, you’ll see SUBMISSION OF YOUR TAKE (Take submission succeeded!) on the screen. To close the window, click CLOSE.
- Return to your HOME screen by pressing X out of the play screen.
- Log out of SmartMusic, then log out of your computer.
- CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR SMARTMUSIC ASSIGNMENT HAS BEEN COMPLETED!!

From the Home screen, select the HELP tab. Select SUBMIT A REQUEST, answer the questions, and a Smart Music representative will contact you within one business day.
