WhatsApp, a part of Facebook since then, is gaining millions of new customers every year. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, says that 10 billion (100 billion) messages are sent to WhatsApp every day.
He further stated that
zHe said that 250 crore people around the world use Facebook and its company based apps on a daily basis, of which more than 200 crores use WhatsApp in particular alone. He also said that Facebook and its company-based apps alone have more than 1 crore advertisers.
He also noted that the number of messages sent to WhatsApp, a Facebook component, has been increasing year by year, with 6300 crore messages being delivered in 2017 and touching 7500 crore by the New Year 2018.
He also said that for the first time during the New Year last year, it reached 10 billion, and now, 10 billion messages are being sent daily on WhatsApp.
He said WhatsApp was used by more than 200 crore people and was the main reason for sending so many messages, adding that no other processor in the world could send as many WhatsApp messages.
