Maci Bookout McKinney is an American reality television star, author, and public speaker. She was born Maci DeShane Bookout on August 10, 1991. She was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and rose to prominence after appearing in the reality television series 16 and Pregnant in 2009, which followed the pregnancies and initial months of parenthood of various young women. She was cast in the spin-off series Teen Mom later that year, and she featured in all four seasons until its termination in 2012. Bookout, along with Catelynn Baltierra, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham, returned to MTV in March 2015 for the fifth season of Teen Mom OG.
Personal Life:
Bookout fell pregnant with her first child with ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards on October 27, 2008, and gave birth to their son Bentley Cadence. The two were engaged in 2009, but their relationship ended in 2010. Following his separation from Edwards, Bookout began dating Kyle King, a boyhood buddy. The couple lived together for a short time before calling it quits in 2012 due to suspicions of King’s adultery.
In 2012, Bookout began dating Taylor McKinney, a Texas motocross rider. In January 2015, the couple revealed Bookout was expecting their first child together, and on May 29, 2015, they welcomed Jayde Carter into the world. McKinney proposed to Bookout on January 19, 2016, while filming an episode of Teen Mom OG[8] in Venice Beach, California, just before the couple announced Bookout was expecting their second child together. On May 31, 2016, she gave birth to her son Maverick Reed.

Since the birth of their baby, Bookout has had issues with his ex, Ryan Edwards. Following reports that Edwards left voicemail messages threatening to abduct their son and making threats against Bookout and McKinney, Bookout and her husband Taylor filed an order of protection against him in March 2018. After the order of protection was vacated, a mutual restraining order was issued in May 2018.
