He moved from sketching to manufacturing, but with no experience in retail sales or marketing, the prospect of launching the finished product seemed daunting at first.
Fortunately for parents all around the world, Day took use of Gilbert, Arizona’s local marketing prowess, and was able to launch his LugBug handle in October 2015.
Since then, the company’s product line has grown to include a cute LugBug clothing line. Day, for one, is committed to his aim of “fixing the world’s ergonomic problems one newborn car seat at a time.”
Lug Bug’s Shark Tank Pitch: What Happened?

Sales totaled $238,000 over the course of a year, with $198,000 arriving in the preceding year (2017). When the package comes, each item costs $5.92 and sells for $39.99. Nathan has spent $750,000 on patents and tooling. Robert Herjavec, a new father of twins, claimed that his pediatrician was aware of the problem and had taught him a different way to wear the carrier.
