Home and Away star, Johnny Ruffo Brain Cancer again diagnosed after more than a year.
The news was shared by the 32-year-old as heartbreaking news through a post on Instagram on Tuesday night.
Johnny said that he had suffered many seizures and unbearable headaches before he was given the news of Brain Cancer once again.
The actor was first diagnosed with brain cancer for the first time in 2017, but he has been in remission, which means the Cancer was decreasing as the therapy worked well according to his body.
Johnny Ruffo Brain Cancer Has Returned
Here’s what johnny wrote on Instagram sharing the pic on Tuesday.
‘After an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches, it is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know I now have another huge battle ahead of me as my brain cancer has returned.
‘Though I will dig deep and beat this sh*t disease again.’
Johnny was immediately filled with support from friends, fans, and his former Home and Away co-stars after the post.
Lincoln Lewis, who starred on the show from 2007–2010, offered his gratitude towards the actor.
‘We’re all here with you and cheering you on!!! Sending all our love, support and good energy brother!! You got this,’ he wrote.
Actress Georgie Parker, who plays Roo Stewart on the show, also showed her love and support: ‘Oh, Johnny!!! Sending nothing but love. Best of luck!!’
While former Channel Ten star Scott Tweedie wrote: ‘Grab it by the balls mate! Throwing truckloads of support your way.’
Johnny became a famous personality from the talent show The X Factor in 2011, where he was second runners up.
He later played the role of Chris Harrington in Home and Away from 2013 to 2016.
Johnny has been fighting brain cancer publicly, and his girlfriend Tahnee Simms was by his side.
The TV star had a moment in August 2017 when he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour removed surgically, and the tumor was 7 cm long. After that surgery, he had to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Doctors discovered the tumor by chance when Johnny went to the hospital for his painful migraines.
He was in a coma for 48 hours after being admitted to the hospital.
Last year, he celebrated being Cancer free by posting pictures of his brain scans from 2017 and 2019 on Instagram.
He wrote the following caption on the picture he uploaded last year.
‘Exactly two years ago versus today, so glad to have beaten this horrible disease. Thank you for all the support!’
Speaking on Fitzy & Wippa last year, Johnny appreciated his girlfriend for always being by his side during the struggle he had to undergo.
‘If she hadn’t taken me to the hospital then I wouldn’t be here now,’ he said.
Last year Johnny returned to singing; Broken Glass was the name of the singles album.
