IPL 2020 Schedule & Start Date

Yes, its right that the 13th edition of IPL 2020 start date is from 19 September 2020. But this time IPL takes different things with it. We all know that due to COVID-19 IPL 2020 is held outside India. Earlier due to elections in India IPL was held in UAE, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, but then after few matches, it was back in India. But that is not the case with this edition of IPL. The IPL 2020 Schedule is set between 19 September 2020 to 10 November 2020.

One of the similarities in IPL this is that the opening game of IPL is played by two competing giants that’s Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). We had seen in previous editions of IPL that these two teams are given the opening match.

As per venue is concerned, the first match of IPL 2020 is to be played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Another change in this year’s ipl is that no spectators are cheering for their teams. There is a slight adjustment in terms of IPL 2020 match start time.

The 4:00 pm matches are scheduled to 3:30 pm IST and similarly, the night matches which usually start at 8:00 pm is scheduled to 7:30 pm IST.

So these are some minor changes that IPL 2020 possesses with itself. As per the number of matches is concerned so there are 60 matches played this year.
