Dorrigo Mountain Kayakers
On the other hand there is another news related to flood is that Kayakers have risked their lives by kayaking into the waterfall as rain continues to drench the New South Wales. The men kayaked down a waterfall at Dorrigo Mountain which is situated in the state of Norther Tablelands. The Waterfall Way has been closed due to the water rushing down the hill as it is cut across the mountain.
The Gwydir and Oxley highways can be alternate routes for travellers to travel between the Pacific and New England Highways. According to authorities advice, Motorists can expect added time of two hours for travelling between the above two places.
The condition is much more series further north as the residents of NSW town of Murwillumbah have been ordered to evacuate as soon as possible.
State Emergency Service has ordered people from Condong to Tumbulgum which is North of Dorrigo Mountain and nearby areas to evacuate via the Tweed Valley Way.
