Corey Conners made history for scoring at the lowest round shot for Canadian at masters 2020. The previous best or lowest round for Canadian at masters was 4-under-par 68 by Mike Weir.
Mike Weir shot 4 times and 2 of them came during his masters victory in 2003. And now by breaking his record Corey Conners did a great job.
Earlier, this was done by Stephen Ames in 2009. Many other Canadian golfers (Dave Barr, Al Balding and Stan Leonard) also fired 68s in masters.
Corey Conners’s record is tied for the low round of the tournament till now.
Because of how cold it was Saturday morning. He also told Sportsnet via text it
“definitely worked out to hit those shots last night”
Later, Mike Weir ended at 1-under through 36 holes. He will also play rounds three and four after a long that and that is since 2014.
Congratulations Corey Conners for making history by scoring lowest round for Canadian at masters 2020.
